January 2014 brought heavy snows and excellent skiing conditions. We visited Ann's brother Greg and is wife Annie at their ranch in Grand Junction where we had a beautiful sunrise on the Colorado Monument - main photo. Our trip from Summit County to Mesa County took us thru some beautiful country from Vail Pass to Glenwood Canyon, and down the Colorado River into Grand Junction - see photo image gallery.

Our Rotary Club of Summit County celebrated the holidays beginning with special awards to deserving Summit County folks who have made a significant difference to our community. (Cover photo)
We also co-hosted with the RC Breckenridge Club Rotary Exchange Students that the Oklahoma and Arkansas Clubs brought to Breckenridge for a ski weekend. RC ski experts helped teach the international students how to ski and ride. Students from around the world enjoyed our early snow on Dec 13-15th 2013. See slide show
